MOVE FORWARD: MAKE DISCIPLES
This sermon calls the church to move forward in obedience to Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19—to go and make disciples of all nations. Discipleship is not optional but essential to the Christian life and the mission of the church. We explored why we must move forward (because of Christ’s command, the urgency of lost souls, and the call to true transformation), the challenges we face (fear, comfort, distraction, and lack of intentionality), and how we can live it out as a church through relationships, the Word, multiplication, and outreach.
As Compassion Chapel, we embrace our mission to “make disciples that make disciples,” and we are reminded that the time to start is now. The welcoming of 11 new families is a powerful testimony that God is already at work, growing His church not just through addition—but through multiplication.
Big Idea
The church fulfills its mission when believers move forward in faith to make disciples who multiply and make more disciples.
