Until I See I Will Not Believe
In John 20:24–29, Thomas moves from doubt to devotion after encountering the risen Christ. His struggle reveals that doubt is not the enemy—distance is. Many people today hear about Jesus but remain spiritually hungry because distraction, busyness, pain, and control keep them from truly encountering Him.
Jesus meets Thomas personally, addressing his doubts and inviting him closer, showing that God is not afraid of our questions but responds to our pursuit. When Thomas encounters Jesus, his uncertainty is transformed into worship as he declares, “My Lord and my God.”
This passage reminds us that faith deepens not through information alone, but through personal encounter. When we position ourselves—present, open, hungry, and surrendered—Jesus reveals Himself, and our curiosity becomes conviction.
