FAITHFULNESS IN THE HOUSEHOLD

Faithfulness in the Household

Big Idea:

A faithful Christian household is a Christ-centered household where every member lives under the lordship of Jesus and faithfully fulfills the role and responsibility God has entrusted to them.

Faithfulness begins at home. Joshua declared, “As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD” (Joshua 24:15), reminding us that every household must decide whom it will serve. In a biblical Christian household, Christ is the Head and Lord. Husbands and wives live as covenant partners under Christ, parents are called to love, lead, provide, protect, and disciple, and children are taught to obey, honor, learn, and grow in the Lord.

Our homes do not need to be perfect, but they must continually be brought under the lordship of Christ. What we faithfully practice today—prayer, Scripture, love, forgiveness, sacrifice, and discipleship—can become a legacy of faith for future generations.

Key Challenge:

Stop feeding what is destroying your household, and start feeding what will strengthen your faith and family.

Remember:

Christ is the Head. Faithfulness begins at home. What we faithfully build today can bless generations tomorrow.
