The Heart of The Gospel (John 3:9-21)

Jun 10, 2026    Rev. Chonfong Paul Yang

In John 3:9–21, Jesus explains to Nicodemus that salvation does not come through religion, good works, or human effort. Instead, salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, whom God sent because of His great love for the world. Jesus teaches that those who believe in Him receive eternal life, while those who reject Him remain in darkness. The Gospel calls us not only to believe in Christ but also to come into His light by living in truth, repentance, and obedience.

Big Idea

The heart of the Gospel is that God demonstrated His love by giving His Son, so that all who believe in Him may receive eternal life and walk in the light of His truth.
